I have an Atlassian site set up with JIRA Software and Confluence. One of the things I want to host on the site is public Wiki pages to allow customers to download software updates and view documentation. I don't want them to have to log in.
If I type the URL of my cloud instance into a browser I get directed to the login page for my site, how can I change this so that users are directed to Confluence instead?
I'm aware I can change the landing page for logged in users to confluence and I can change the default home page in confluence to a specific page in a specific space but I am asking about the entire cloud instance? How can I get blah.atlassian.net to direct to Confluence instead of a login page?
Via user management for Cloud you can set the default application for all users (JIRA or Confluence) - see https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/manage-application-access-744721629.html#Manageapplicationaccess-Setupdefaultaccess
But I don't believe this will work for anonymous users (or its a bug), so I would suggest you raise this directly with Atlassian support.
Alternatively, consider using something like Instant Websites for Confluence by Arijea https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/instant-websites/cloud/overview to publish a public support site.
