How can I search for issues using JQL for issues that have IZ-AD in the summary field? Edited

When I use JQL :

project = IMDX AND issuetype in (Epic, Story) AND text ~ "IZ-"

I get a list of issues that contain IZ- in the summary;

however, when I use:

 project = IMDX AND issuetype in (Epic, Story) AND text ~ "IZ-"

I do not get any issues found and there are issues that contain IZ-AD in the summary field

Hi Maria,

Assuming that your second query should have been:

 project = IMDX AND issuetype in (Epic, Story) AND text ~ "IZ-AD"

I was not able to reproduce your issue. Could you add screenshots of the search results? (Please obfuscate any confidential information)

Best,

Maarten

Hi Maria,

I see, when there's a "-5" or any number behind it it does not seem to work. That looks like a bug to me so I suggest you logt this as a bug or improvement to the JIRA team through jira.atlassian.com

Best,

Maarten
