If a page name specifically the "Page Title" is changed, search does not find the page when using the old Title however if you know the new name and then use the Page History function and go to an old version you can see the old page Title.
Does someone have a method by which we can either:
Note: I understand if you have a fully qualified URL link to the page (with the old name of the page in the URL) Confluence is smart enough to identify that the page is missing and offers "The page you were looking for may have been renamed to the following:".
Therefore, the information is clearly available within the database - but how does a normal user gain access to this?
I'm relatively certain you would need to either find a plugin that does something similar, or implement one yourself.
In my view, indexing old (thus, no longer correct/relevant) titles would be counter-intuitive to searches, broadly speaking. I can see the reason why someone would want that, but I don't see it as a healthy or intuitive feature natively as a whole.
Can't say I'd come across a plugin that could do this though.
