How can I search by special characters

I going to find smth starts from "@permission"
but I get only results with "permission" without "@" in the beginning.

Hi @seanvi ,

Is your search criteria @permission or is it "@permission" ? If you are leaving out the quotation marks then I suspect the search engine is ignoring the special character because it relates to the tagging function in Confluence. 

Try searching with the quotation marks included.

I still get results for "permission" and see no "@permission" results.
Even with quotation, special characters are still ignored.
