How can I reference confluence pages / urls without risk of them changing?

Craig Coxon December 21, 2014

Hi,

I am setting up a knowledge base using Confluence OnDemand and we would like to link to the pages in our Service Desk ticketing system. I was hoping that each page may have some sort of reference that I could search for or link to but I've yet to find one, the other option was to use the URL but the risk with this is that if the content is moved or the title is changed then the URL becomes useless.

It doesn't have to be a link in that it takes you directly to the page, more of a reference so the user that views the ticketing system can be certain that page relates to that ticket.

Can anyone think of a solution that would solve my problem?

Thanks,

Craig
