How can I prevent people from reading content?

Julian Dziki September 1, 2013

Hi,

I need to be absolutely save that no one reads the content on our Confluence pages. No one should be able to download documents or find them in some rss-Feed (Calendar?).

Only my team should be allowed to do so, what settings do I have to have?

Hi Julian,

Please check this document of how to restrict pages on Confluence:

Page Restrictions

However, is important to mention though the users will not be able to access the pages, they will still be able to see the summary of that pages. Just its content will be restricted.

Hope it helps!

The best way is to create a space for your content and make sure that only people who should be able to see that content have view access to the space. If they do not have view access to the space they should not see any of the content in search or anywhere else.
