How can I grant access to an ext external confluence user?

Lalo Ruiz May 18, 2017

How do I give a confluence user from an external organization access to my confluence cloud without having to give them an account in my confluence instance?

Put another way, does one need a unique confluence account to access unique confluence url's?

You may allow anonymous access to your instance, the anonymous users will not need to log in and they will not take up a license. Here are the instructions:

How to give non Confluence users access to a Space

Thank you for the response, I was looking into anonymous access but I need to control access to the content. Meaning I don't want just anybody to be able to view the information on that page. I am trying to share content with a customer, and they would not appreciate the content being open for just anyone to see. How can I keep that private?
