How can I extract the page version via metadata?

Hi,

for reporting purpose I would like to extract the page version of all pages e.g. with the label = status and display them in one report on another page.

Unfortuenately the value "Version" referrs to the version of an attachment and not of the page itself. 

How can I extract the current page version e.g. from the Page History?
