I'm trying to connect a Windows 7 Network drive to Confluence 3.5.13. Confluence outputs a crytic username and fails to login:
2012-08-27 10:55:40,980 DEBUG [http-8080-37] [confluence.extra.webdav.ConfluenceDavSessionProviderImpl] authenticate User name: `? ^K^F^F+^F^A^E^E^B??0?00.^F *?H??^R^A^B^B^F *?H??^R^A^B^B^F +^F^A^D^A?7^B^B^^^F +^F^A^D^A?7^B^B [...]
mrxdav.sys version is 6.1.7601.17514
Thanks in advance,
Lars
Hi, Confluence needs to listen on port 80 and not 8080 for this to work. Follow this guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Configuring+a+WebDAV+client+for+Confluence#ConfiguringaWebDAVclientforConfluence-ClientSetup for further information on setting up WebDAV.
Network Drives can't be mapped at the moment. Please use Network Folders steps as a workaround. Refer to my link earlier for more information.

I've tested webdav on another server which listens on port 80 with the same result:
2012-08-27 12:11:24,944 WARN [http-80-4] [atlassian.seraph.auth.DefaultAuthenticator] login login : '`? ^M^F^F+^F^A^E^E^B?? ^A0?00.^F *?H??^R^A^B^B^F *?H?? ^R^A^B^B^F +^F^A^D^A?7^B^B^^^F +^F^A^D^A?7^B^B
[...]
I gues my webdav client is messed up somehow
