There is an article that describes how to disable several annoying notifications globally but it is applicable for Confluence <= 7.2 only.
I assume there is a new/different feature for versions above 7.2 but was not able to find something.
Anyone who can advice?
Thanks for your help.
Workaround Ideas for single pages:
The problem is documented in JAC

but its in hibernation since 2014.
Unfortunately the Bug does not state a workaround other than the one referred to above.

I'm looking to disable watching / notifications for every user. At least temporarily when updating a page including deletion of a large number of attachments and comments.
