Hiding some pages from public viewing

Paul Holmes April 17, 2020

Hi, I am new to confluence and still learning. I am working on a site that will be open to public viewing but I also need to hide certain pages so only certain people can see it, is there way to do that? maybe by setting it up so only people with a direct link have access?

Hi @Paul Holmes ,

it's possible to hide some pages (or even some spaces) with restrictions in Confluence. You can have a look at the documentation here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/page-restrictions-139414.html

Basically, you can prevent people or groups from seeing content this way.

As far as I know, there is no "direct link only" feature (I think it's possible with Google docs for example).

Let me know if this helps,
