Does anybody know how to set-up a confluence space with a hybrid permission ruleset, giving access only to specific users (based on email or other sorts of type of authentication)?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Marco Serafino ,
You can either make a space publicly available or you can narrow access down by specifying users or groups to the space permissions. In that case users will use a license. Since you are on a free-plan this will not hold up for a lot of users.
You could place your instance behind a web proxy that requires log in. Then set up your instance to have anon user view rights. It won't be based on email per se (unless that is the user name), but you could at least restrict access, but not have to set up user accounts.
