I've tried to follow https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/viewing-site-statistics-123043962.html to enable the Confluence Usage Tracking plugin but cannot find it - is it not available any longer?

Hello,

As per plugin version history, it appears, that plug-in is available only for up to Confluence Server 5.10.9 version. If you are running earlier server version, you can download and install it as per manual installation instructions, assuming you can't find it in your existing plug-ins list.
Alternatively, you can use one of these  available on the market that should do the trick.

Hope this helps,
Igor

Hi @stefbasa

Can you tell us on what Confluence version you are currently on?

Usually you can find this add-on if you look for System Add-Ons in the Plugin Manager with the name "Confluence Usage Stats". Is it completely missing there?

Hi Niklas,

thanks for the fast response. I'm struggling to find my version number ("admin/systeminfo.action" is just spinning). It's the hosted version though, so I would assume the latest. The plugin isn't found (see screenshot).

thanks

Stefan

I am afraid, that if you are on Confluence Cloud, this feature is not available.

References for this is on this documentation page; Restricted functions in Confluence Cloud

I see - thanks. I assume I won't be able to manually install either?

On Cloud you can only work with apps available on the Marketplace.
Manual installation is not possible.

If you are still looking - here is the same list filtered for Confluence Cloud:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/addons/app/confluence/top-rated?category=Reports&hosting=cloud&query=analytics

Personally I have used this one because it is free:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216514/google-analytics-for-confluence-free?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

They have a good getting started guide:

https://wiki.resolution.de/display/GAFCC/Setup+Google+Analytics+for+Atlassian+Confluence+Cloud

You have to set up Google Analytics for these it's also free and not to hard to get going:

...and lastly Atlassian offers analytics with cloud premium:
