Getting duplicate key error when importing space

I have deleted the spaces, and now i am importing an XML backup of those spaces.  I am getting a duplicate key error.  I tried this with 3 spaces and then i stopped.

However, I am able to successfully import a space that did not exist before.

You can check the Confluence database for remnants of a space that are preventing the import.
