Gap at top of Confluence pages - how to remove it?

Abhay Patil July 25, 2017

With latest upgrade (Confluence cloud) the pages suddenly show too big a space (gap) between page title and the first line (especially when an "Info" panel is used as the first thing at the top). In the edit mode one can see a line space above info panel, but it can't be removed. When info panel is not there - there is no space seen in edit mode. (See images below.)

The gap doesn't look elegant - is it a bug, or is there a workaround to not have it?

Top picture shows the gap. The next screen shot shows that page in edit mode - there is no gap.

Hey - two suggestions here:

1) please contact the Atlassian support and make sure this is works as designed and not a bug.

2) if it is not a bug/not fixed soon, use additional CSS site wide or space wide to override the CSS style creating the gap (use something like developer tools/inspector to find the right elements/style to override).

Cheers

Christoph
