Full Screen editing not working with Safari 7.0.1 on mavericks

buddy1974 January 21, 2014

Whenever I either click on the full screen button in safari I am unable to scroll the content and I am unable to use the toolbar. It seems as if the full screen button stays in a pushed state. I can navigate through the sections using the tab key, but this is rather cumbersome.

Even quitting and re-starting safari did not solve the issue as safari will enter full screen mode by default once the button is clicked.

After cleaning the cookie and local cache, it works again. Is this a known bug or do i need to tweak some setting to make it work?

Howdy Juergen!

What version of Confluence are you using? I tested this using Confluence 5.5.3 and I did not notice any issues with editing in fullscreen mode. I am, however, running Safari 7.0.6. Have you tried upgrading to the most recent version of Safari?
