For a blueprint in confluence, how do I set the URL of a JIRA gadget?

Mike Winston May 26, 2017

I have created a blueprint with a gadget embedded inside it using the template. But the gadget requires a "url" in it which points to the JIRA instance. How do I generisize this URL to point to the JIRA application link.

        <ac:structured-macro ac:macro-id="bf566aea-5da6-4368-87ce-e8c61e6c553c" ac:name="gadget" ac:schema-version="1">
          <ac:parameter ac:name="preferences">projectOrFilterId=filter-17634&periodName=daily&daysprevious=180&isCumulative=true&showUnresolvedTrend=false&versionLabel=major&isConfigured=true&refresh=false</ac:parameter>
          <ac:parameter ac:name="url">https://mycompany.com/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.jira.gadgets:created-vs-resolved-issues-chart-gadget/gadgets/createdvsresolved-gadget.xml</ac:parameter>
        </ac:structured-macro>

If I look at the HTML for the JIRA Search macro, then the server uses the Application Link name.
