Flush Mail Queue doesn't work

Flush Mail Queue is not working; thousands of mails are accumulating.

Same problem. No error/feedback in log when trying to flush manually.

Using Confluence v5.3.1 on RedHat VM with correctly synced date/time

Still we facing this issue? Is there any permanent solution for this issue?

Same problem here. Nothing happens, even if I flush the queue manually.

The only way to "resolve" this issue, is to restart the Confluence service completely. This is very annoying, since we have around 300+ users online during our main hours, and a "quick restart" isn't realistic (at least not without informing everyone, waiting for a timeslot, etc.).

Any idea on how to solve this appreciated.

 

This appears in the log file when I try to flush manually:

2015-06-08 11:56:01,451 WARN [http-8090-14] [admin.actions.mail.ViewMailQueueAction] doFlush Queue was sending - skipped mail flush this time.

We have same issue here. After manual flush also email queue not decreasing.

Also we have reindex the system but no luck..

 

Please help us to resolve this issue. Many Thanks

Hey Rogerio,

What happens if you Flush the queue manually?

If that fails check the <Confluence Home>atlassian-confluence.log for any error that matches the time stamp of the action.
