Fixing formatting issues when exporting confluence page to a pdf

rhianfarrell November 12, 2017

Hi all,

I am trying to export certain confluence pages into a pdf but when I do the formatting comes out skewed and distorted.

I have Jira issue/ filter tables in the pages I want to export and these seem to be the problem areas when trying to convert into a pdf.

Can anyone assist in telling me how I can make the formatting in the pdf readable and presentable

Hi Rhian,

I understand Jira issues and filters are not exporting to PDF as expected - the formatting is skewed and distorted.

Please:

  • post a screen shot of what the Jira issue macros look like on your PDF exports
  • let me know what version of Confluence you are using.
  • let me know what you are using to view the PDF (Adobe Reader for example)

I did a test and the export came out looking good:

There are options for Confluence server to customize PDF exports but just exporting Jira issues "should" work out of the box.

I look forward to learning more about the formatting issue you are seeing.

Thanks,

Ann
