We've had a space go to archive mode a few times, affecting its functionality. Unfortunately, I'm trying to find the actor so we can advise corrective action. (Not malicious, just inadvertent).
I've checked the audit log and have tried to find a correlating event, but am coming up empty. Is this something that can be looked up at all?
I assume you tried to have a look at the logs on site - level. Confluence Logs are available here https://your-site.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/auditlogging.action and also track the archived event with the actor and the affected space.
Ah, that helps. I was looking at the org level audit and couldn't find the audit log for Confluence Specifically.
This helped what I was looking for, though the built in filter options are not featured at all. Exporting to csv is required here.

I agree, the filtering is quite cumbersome. I achieved the best results when searching for the "archived" key word.

I wonder if an automation rule (that notifies you when the space is archived) would contain more details....
