Feedback mechanisms for Confluence pages / knowledge base

Melina Soto August 10, 2020

Hi there! We recently migrated our Support Team's knowledge into Confluence to create an internal knowledge base. We've been looking to add a feedback mechanism that allows users (i.e. support agents) to indicate whether or not pages are helpful. We'd also like to allow them to leave text feedback, ideally, something that would create a ticket/task for content creators. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Melina,

Grant the agents appropriate permissions and use Confluence's Commenting functionality. Page creators and watchers will be notified by email and they can delete or resolve comments as needed. Agents can also Like content to rate it. Otherwise you may have to look for something in the Atlassian Marketplace like Votes for Confluence - Polls (or similar) if standard functionality doesn't meet your needs. Cheers!
