This looks like you are trying to use JIRA Cloud's user database for handling your Server Confluence's users?

This cannot be done.

If I have misunderstood the question, please could you explain what you are trying to achieve?  (Don't worry about the current settings etc, just explain the end goal as your users would experience it)

this is Gugan and i am replying back on behalf of your question. Because of 24 hrs time delay, i am using another account for replying you.

Yes. You are correct

  1. I bought JIRA on demand (basically cloud )(https://babajob.atlassian.net)
  2. I bought confluence on server and try to get instance created in AWS.(confluence.babajob.com:8090)

i have finished the confluence setup and everything is one

Now i am trying to connect both JIRA and Confluence user directory. Is it possible to connect ?

if not , kindly advice me how to go about it and why its cannot be done.

Regards

Gugan N

No.

I think this is fourth time you've been told you cannot do this.  Asking the question again does not change the answer.

Why it cannot be done is simple - JIRA Cloud does not expose the user directories.  In fact, the user directories in Cloud are not even in JIRA, they're handled by the internal user system, which has no interface for other applications.  If I were running a Cloud hosting service, I would do exactly the same, to avoid external applications imposing unwanted load on my systems.
