Exporting from Confluence Whiteboard to Jira - 2 issues

Sarah St John June 6, 2024

Trying to export from Confluence Whiteboard to Jira - I'm having 2 issues.

1. there appears to be some kind of limit on the character/words - which means my tasks are not been appropriately named (a lot of similar or same named tasks)

There is no ability to edit task name when bulk importing - so will have to individually export (whats the point?!)

2. due to the above issue - I have 'wiped' all my stickies on 1 Epic (lucky I noticed before doing any more) I can't view what they used to look like and can now only see the similar/same named tasks with Jira link.

@Sarah St John welcome to the Atlassian community.

Confluence whiteboards are made to work just like real life whiteboards and planning.  You can brainstorm, plan, and take action on the work that you planned using the whiteboard.  It is a newer product and is changing so functionality will eventually improve.

Once you wipe them I am unaware of a way to get them back.
