Is it possible to add the expand macro to an entire table?
I have 9 tables in a document, 3 tables on one line, which makes it too long & unorganized. I want to collapse the entire tables so that I can only see their titles, but as soon as I add the macro, it just adds another table underneath it.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Elie Sarafian ,
We can suggest our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
You'll be able to use pagination for long tables to make your Confluence pages more neat and organized.
Besides the app will help you to filter your tables, make pivots, perform calculations, etc.
And the Expand macro can't divide your tables into several parts (show the headings and collapse the body). You can hide only the whole table.
And you may also try the Table Spreadsheet macro - use all the basic Excel-like features right in Confluence: reuse data from other sheets, create pivot tables, use cell formulas, keep your long tables neat and tidy.
Hope it helps!

Hi Elie,
You can place the whole table inside the Expand macro, just highlight all rows/columns and copy/paste. You will need to edit the Expand macro's Title to indicate what is within while collapsed. Cheers!
