Excluding Blog Posts in Searches

Is there a way to default a user's search to refine to just pages, instead of having to select it every time.

OR is there a way to exclude a space's blog from the Livesearch feature? We use Confluence for our Knowledge Base and want agents to get pages with out procedures and reference guides and not necessarily our blog entries.

Should we just move our blog off of our space to ensure our agents aren't accidentally looking at blog posts?

If you're already directing traffic to your space landing page, and have them search from there using the Page Tree Macro. Will only search pages in that space by default, or you can define the Root / Parent page to search from.
