Exchange iCal produces a timezone error in team calendars

kevin schoon March 18, 2012

Hey --

My company recently purchased Confluence and are rolling it out as a company intranet site, we're also demoing Team-Calendars which we will be an important piece of the rollout. I have modified the setenv batch file with the java parameter -Duser.timezone=America/Chicago (We are central time) and have continued getting the following error when trying to sync an Exchange iCal calendar: Unable to load events of EventCalendar(81584619-6522-482a-bea9-469bc692f559): The datetime zone id is not recognised: Central Standard Time, EventCalendar is the name of our shared calendar. I've tested this by viewing the calendar directly and there are no issues with the timezone settings. I've done a good share of searching but haven't found much related to this in documentation or on support pages..

Any help would be appreciated,

Kevin

Hello Kevin!

Unfortunately this is a limitation of the current Team Calendars Plugin.

We have created the bug reports here:

* CalDAV Support

* Support Microsoft Exchange Timezone format.

Keep track and vote for the popularity of this problem :)

Kind Regards,

Guilherme
