Errors when trying to log in to Confluence when running Automation

We’ve encountering errors when trying to log in to our Confluence Cloud test instances.

There are two errors which appear randomly and not related to any of our automated test specifically.


This is happening on two instances which we use for Automation runs with same admin user.


Credentials error:

Something went wrong while attempting to validate your credentials.

Temporary locked account error:

For security purposes, we've temporarily locked your account due to multiple log in attempts within a short period of time. Please try again in a few minutes. If this issue persists, please contact Atlassian Support.


These errors are not new and we’ve seen them before, but recently we are seeing them quite often.

Is there a way to disable/bypass security checks or whitelist our Confluence Cloud instances ?
