Error with creating a new confluence space for existing project

Hey,

I'm trying to create a confluence space for an existing jira project and receive an error message as in the picture below. Any advice how to create a space for existing project?

I am trying to create a space from jira -> Project Page ->  connect to confluence space -> create a new

I am getting to the point below and receive "Connection failed" message. Nothing is wrong with my connection.

Check if you have the permission to create an new space, eg. by trying directly from Confluence.

If it was working before you might want to contact your Jira/Confluence admin to verify if there were any changes in configuration.
