Judging from your description, I believe there are some duplicate user info content created for the same user in your Confluence database. The detailed cause and the solution is explained in this documentation.
Since you are using an Ondemand instance of Confluence which are hosted by Atlassian, I suggest you to contact our support team so they can assist you in solving this issue.
