Drop down list when editing an existing page

Hi. I have already saved pages, created from templates that use drop-down menus to select values for certain fields.

I would like to retain this drop-down lists for later editing of the same pages. Is there a way to insert a drop-down selector to a saved page, so that it would somehow save current state and show it on page render, yet allow to change the value on page editing.

The values should be preset without user input.

Thanks

Honestly I'm not sure if is possible, but I suggest you to take a look at this plugin which is similar from what you requested:
