Is there a way to add a drop-down list box to a page template?

Hi Evan,

Yes you can add custom fields.  Go to the admin cog in the top right of JIRA and:

  1. Select Issues
  2. Select Customfields in the left hand side. 
  3. Click the Add custom field button on the top right hand side

There are - amongst the other field types - 3 Select list field types you can add, with defined values for users to choose from.

can a dropdown box with preconfigured choices be added to JIRA too?  I see this link is in relation to Confluence and the company I work for only has JIRA that I'm aware of.  I'm doing a lessons learned database.
