Drag Presentation on page creates new attachement.

Alexander Schätzle December 8, 2014

Hi everybody,

if somebody is dragging a slide of a presentation from the Power Point Makro to f.e. the right of the page, he is automatically creating a new attachement of this slide.

This problem only appears under Internet Explorer. Is there a possibility to disable this "bug" , so no one will create accidentally a new attachment. This is really annoying for those, who are watching the whole space via mail notification.

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

I've installed a Confluence 5.6.3 and tried to replicate the behavior but it worked correctly for me. can you provide the steps to replicate the issue and the versions of the Browser and Confluence that you are using?

If you can provide a video showing the behavior that would be great as well.

Cheers,

Rodrigo

Hi,

thanks for your quick answer!

I am using Confluence 5.4.4 and IE 11.0.
Here the Video:

I do not want to have an attachement added through dragging the presentation to the right side.
Users are doing this accidentally, so everybody who is watching this page gets a Mail Notification:
