Download All function is not working correctly

Kenneth Lai November 20, 2024

There are 615 files in a page but only 163 files were downloaded when I pressed "Download All" button. Any reason?

Hi @Kenneth Lai and welcome to the community.

It may be the case of having just too many files on a page and using it as a file storage/management tool.

There's a maximum attachment size setting in Confluence for a single attached file. The file are downloaded as a compressed zip file... so I just wonder... if there's a correlation between the total size of your 163 files and the max attachment size.

Kristian, Thank you for your reply. I will check with our admin. Meanwhile, may I know whether I can increase the attachment size setting to resolve this issue? Please advise. Thanks.

Confluence Settings > General Configuration then scroll down to Attachment settings.

I need to emphasize that what I wrote is just an idea, but given the fact that Confluence must zip the files before the download starts, it might be an issue with too many files - either size-wise, or process-wise.
