Does purchasing and utilizing a theme impact all Spaces in Confluence?

We are looking at adding a theme to a select number of Spaces when we update to the Cloud version here in a few months. We don't want the theme to roll out to all of our Spaces though. Do themes automatically impact all of Confluence, or can we select the Spaces that we want the theme to be active in?

Yes it does affect every space, in that when you go to space admin, it will offer the theme as an option.

But the answer you really want is more useful - No, because you don't have to use it in every space.

Be careful with the global default theme though - this will be applied to all spaces that have not selected a theme.  If you're only wanting to use your new theme on a couple of spaces, then leave the global alone and configure only those spaces.
