Does confluence On Demand support drafts?

Avner August 12, 2013

Hi - from what I can see it does not, as I don't see draft save messages in the editor. If its not there, when will it be added? I think this is a very important feature for a wiki editor.

thanks!

Hi Av, as Bernardo indicates, Confluence has always have autsave draft functionality. In Confluence 5.0 we introduced a new "responsive design" on the editor in order to maximize screen real estate when your browser is minimzed. (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+5.0+Release+Notes#Confluence5.0ReleaseNotes-Editorimprovements) As such, the "draft saved" confirmation is hidden (to save space) in the mimized mode which may be what you're experiencing.
