Displaying a page "share link" as text

LH November 20, 2020

Hello,

I'd like to add the URL that is generated by clicking the 'Share' button within a Confluence page as text (or a soft link using pageid). I've tried a couple of approaches but am dismally failing to achieve the result I'd like, which is to display either the actual link or the url text itself.

I've used an HTML macro to generate a url which includes the pageid. Unfortunately, it seems only one HTML macro can be used within a page and I've already used that approach further up. Subsequent use of the same HTML macro doesn't display anything. Is there anyway to reuse the HTML macro output?

I can't help thinking that there must be an easy way to display page variables via a macro, especially something that is already defined as part of the page via the 'Share' button.

I don't have access to user macros and am using server 7.4.3.

Any help would be much appreciated.
