Displaying Child pages in table view, with additional columns for manual inputs

Brandon Wong January 26, 2023

Is it possible to use the Child Display macro to create an automated table, but also has additional columns that I can input other data into?

Example of some of the additional columns below

Description

Relevant Confluence Links

External links

Child Page A
Child Page B

Hi @Brandon Wong ,

Unfortunately, we couldn't think of exactly your case but maybe the standard Page Properties/Page Properties Report macros will help?

You place the Page Property macro with the required columns with manually created data on the child pages and then collect these tables along with the Page Title meta data via the Page Properties Report macro on the master parent page.

If you need to collect multiple-row tables (the Page Properties/Page Properties Report macros allow you to collect one-row tables), you may use our Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros. These macros are coming with our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.

Unless you have too many pages and get the

maxClauseCount is set to 1024

error. Need a solution where we can have a filterable list of children pages, if you can think of one.
