Discard everyone's changes is so dangerous

When 2 guys edit the one page on the same time, and  one click  the close button on the right-bottom of page, then system will popup a confirmation dialogue box as the attachment. In case of selecting Discard everyone's changes by misoperation, it will be a disaster, so is there alternative for that throuh some configurations? For example, only discard current user changes.

Please give us some advice, thanks a lot.

One way to keep people from discarding other people's changes is to disable collaborative editing for your instance by setting the mode to Off; here are the instructions: Change the editing mode

We have a suggestion open to add an option to just discard your own changes: Allow users to discard their own changes with Collaborative Editing

Please comment or vote on the suggestion. Doing so will communicate directly with our development team, and cause you to be notified when there is progress on the suggestion.

Thanks for your answer
