Disable email notification for certain type

Need help writing a plugin to get the type of notification and stop it from being actually sent.

What does "get the type of notification" mean? Where are you trying to intercept/subvert a process? Which process in Confluence?

It might be a lot more useful if you told us what Confluence currently does and how you would like it to change?

As you know confluence send out email notifiication when a page is edited, page is moved,attachment is added, attachment is removed, page is deleted and so on. I would like to develop a plugin which will send out email notification only if a page is deleted. In other case i would like to stop the email notification form sending to the users.
