Database or Storage for large files

Is there anyway to change the repository location for large files to a nas?

The directory most likely to grow over time or contain large files is the Confluence Home or "data" directory: Confluence Home and other important directories As long as the Confluence server can see the NAS it should be ok to store the home directory on it.

 In addition to attachments the home directory contains the content index and the plugins cache so it is important that Confluence is able to get a fast response from the device, or it could slow performance.
