Hi All

Im working for a product team who is trying to standardize the way we write requirements. One thing we are looking to do is work faster and smarter by utilizing a custom macro or a text expander like app where we can easily insert a custom requirement we write often.

For an example anytime we need a requirement for a "Confirmation Modal" we would like an easy way of inserting a basic template...

This is a brief description of why we need this modal.

Now I know I mentioned text expander which works great except for it doesn't capture the confluence styling.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can do something like this?

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Hi there @Tom Caliendo ! I am the new Templates PM and your notes here caught my eye!

Am I understanding correctly that you would like to templatize content objects including macros, or tables and such that you could easily add to pages that you are creating?

I'd love to learn more!

Yes - Correct. When writing requirements you have standards and receptive content you need to rewrite constantly.

I would love for the ability to create my own macros so i could...

type "/confirmationModal"

then that would execute... Some text a link and a table filled out.

One way to do this is to build something called a "Forge" app.  This is Atlassian's new platform to extend Confluence.

However this requires programming.

Thanks - I'de prefer the option of not programming
