We are setting up a test enviroment with the Confluence 3.5.16 cluster and ran into issues when copying approx 650gb of attachments to the Oracle database from the file system. We have the following questions for you:
# Exactly what is happening during the copy attachments process and when is the COMMIT issued? (After 29 hours there are no records in the Attachments data table)
# Have any other customer's been successfull or reported problems when moving a large number of attachments into the database?
# Can the attachments be copied from the file system into the database using any other method?
# What recommendations or work arounds can you provide for the creation of the Confluence cluster.
Has anyone been successful with the migration of attachments from the file system to the database? If so, how long did it take you and what was the approximate size or number of attachments you migrated?
