recently my team and I released a Cloud plugin to create pages / blog-posts from email.
Since sending emails is a recurring topic and there are already several forum posts and tickets, we took the effort to collect all available information about it in a single blog post. You can find the blog post here.
- For Confluence Server with versions 4.0 or lower there was very limited build-in support.
- For versions above that the only possibility to send emails to Confluence Server currently is via the send-email-to-page plugin.
- Our mailto.wiki plugin is the way to go if you’re using Confluence Cloud.

However, this plugin does not exist for Confluence Cloud.
I hope it helps.
