Create space beneath a Note or Code Block macro

colfinn March 4, 2014

Hi,

When I use a Note/Info/Caution macro or a Code Block macro in a series of steps, it inserts space above the macro, but not below. This means the text that follows is directly beneath the macro and looks very cramped. I've tried a hard return and also tried Shift + Enter, but the results are either too much space or none at all. Is there some secret method I am missing that will enter a reasonable amount of space beneath these macros? Thank you.

I neglected to mention that I tried that, but your reply made me think of trying a nbsp in wiki markup. The result of just one nbsp was no space at all...but a second one provided exactly the amount of space I was hoping for. Thanks!

Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not, but you could use '\\' which would give you a blank line in confluence wiki markup.
