Converting MediaWiki to Confluence in OnDemand setup?

I'm having the task to migrate a Mediawiki to our OnDemand Confluence instance. Is the Universal Wiki Converter available in such a situation? If not, do I have an alternative beside a lot of manual copy & pasting?

You'd need to do this on a local Confluence installation, and follow similar steps as this post. Make sure you download Confluence OD locally. Then prepare a space by space export to be import into OnDemand. It's a fair amount of manual work, but I believe it might be better than manually copy/paste everything.

We are also looking to migrate/import our mediawiki to our Confluence cloud.

As the cloud portion and mediawiki are already in place, I am wondering if the local install of Conlfuence cloud is the recommended path to doing so? From what I gather (with the exception of this article), this may not be necessary and the steps to migration require an install of UWC outlined here, then an export of the mediawiki outlined here

Can you confirm the recommended path to achieve such a migration?

Thank you kindly,
