This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Task Report Macro

Our Confluence instance is configured for English (United Kingdom)

since recently Task Report Macro Headers started to display in German. 

No settings to control that found

Check to see if the language settings in your profile got changed. It is possible to override the default language for the system by user ... I would think that everything would change as well, but I would check there first.
