Confluence cannot link to svn+ssh: resources

Meech January 9, 2013

Hi,

We are using confleunce v4.2.4

The Confluence editor turns any svn+ssh://path/to/resource links into https://confluence.com/svn+ssh:/path/to/resource which will linked to "Page Not Found"

How can we link the svn+ssh path to the resources which it tortoiseSVN client will be launched when we click on the path in confluence?

Or is there is any plugin that can support the behaviour above? For example http://www.atlassian.com/software/fisheye/overview product that can integrate with Jira.

thanks & regards,

Michelle

Hello Meech,

Unfortunately this would not turn out well. Confluence has the addiction to turn every '+' sign into spaces. Thus why when you've entered svn+ssh, it thought, "this is a space, so it must be a title", and when there is no protocol being used, it adds the URL, so its URL+link, which turned the URL you've put above.

To fix this either use only svn:// or ssh:// You can write a custom User Macro to use it, or use a shortcut link to force its usage:

Hope it helps you!

Cheers,
