Confluence Windows service nonProxyHosts property and wildcards

VanP August 4, 2013
Hi, I want to use a wildcard (*) in the nonProxyHosts property to configure a proxy except for some internal servers. If I use a * as wildcard; it does not work. Specifying the full servername will exclude the server from 'proxy', so that works fine. Any idea what can be wrong? I already tried to use the \ to escape the * but doens't work. Thanks for the feedback Best regards Pieter

HI,

These property values does not work:

-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=s100*|s101server01

-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=s100\*|s101server01

Only s101server01 was bypassed, for s100* servers I get a warning that proxy authentication was required.

Best regards

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

A little more information is needed, can you provide an anonymized example of your property value?
