We have recently set up Confluence on one of our Windows system and are tring to automate updates to the software using a script. Unfortunetly when following the directions on how to do an unattended install we get one of two results depending on if we uninstall prior to installing the new version. If we don't uninstall the new install fails with a return code of 1. I have been unable to find any log information as to what is happening. If we do uninstall first and then go into the WebUI it acts like it is a new server instead of keeping the old settings.
