Confluence Team Calendars - Cannot add 'Jira Agile Sprint' event type to calendar

A user cannot add the JIRA Agile Sprint even type to a calendar. Whenever they try to, the project dropdown is blank. It won't find any projects for the user to find sprints from. The user is an admin on the project, and admin on the board, and the project has the administer projects permission including the project admins.

I'm stumped, and cannot find any documentation that lists the required permissions for adding a JIRA Agile Sprint even type. Outside of the JIRA project and board admin permissions, I'm not sure what else you could need.

Any ideas?

I'm having exactly the same problem.

Any help anyone?

It is disabled by default. Go to confluence administration > general configuration > manage add-ons > team calendars > configure > event > enable.
